Wendy brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at industry giants Shopify and Wattpad. At Shopify, she served as Director of Engineering and Data Science, where she oversaw the development of essential analytic tools that empowered merchants on the platform.

In addition to her corporate achievements, Wendy is a member of the Data Science Institute at the University of Toronto where she contributes to discussions on data quality and ethics in AI. Wendy is actively involved in the Data Science for Social Good initiative, which aims to harness data science for positive social impact through data science education and mentorship.
